How to block a URL with Web Blocker
Open Block List
Open Web Blocker and choose Block List.
Enter the website
Type or paste the website address you want to block. You can enter a full address, a normal domain, or a simple site name.
Add one or several sites
Click Add. If you entered several websites, Web Blocker processes them together.
Check the result
The websites Web Blocker recognized appear in your Block List. If one entry needs attention, you can fix that one without entering the whole list again.
Make sure protection is active
If you see “Awaiting activation”, the address is saved but blocking is not active yet. Install or enable the Web Blocker browser extension, then test the site again.
Open the blocked address
Open the website in your browser. If the Web Blocker block screen appears, the rule is working.

Saving an address and actively blocking it are two different states. Check the status shown beside your Block List.
Why does Web Blocker need a browser extension?
The website is where you manage your Block List and settings. The extension applies those rules while you browse.
