Choose your protection level

To avoid the temptation to disable blocking in a moment of weakness, configure the severity in the PASSWORD tab. Different protection levels are available:

  • Level 1 (Mindful): Light protection. Custom simple password and a minimal 1-second delay. Great if you just need a gentle reminder.
  • Level 2 (Habit Breaker): Medium protection. A complex password (8–10 characters) with delay and disabled password pasting, plus a 5-second pause for a mindful breath. Helps break the habit of mindless scrolling.
LEVEL 1: MINDFUL
Simple password • 1s delay
LEVEL 2: HABIT BREAKER
Standard password • 5s delay

Add the website to your Web Blocker block list and enable password protection with strict settings (such as Level 2 Habit Breaker with delay and disabled password pasting). This creates intentional friction to prevent impulsive unblocking.

Yes. In your Web Blocker list, you can toggle the switch next to any domain to temporarily disable blocking without deleting the site from your configuration.

Yes. Web Blocker features a dedicated Password tab where you can set a PIN or password with configurable time delays (e.g. 5 seconds for mindful pause), ensuring you cannot disable the blocker in a moment of weakness.

Chrome for Android and iOS does not support Chrome Web Store extensions. To block websites on mobile devices, use built-in system tools like Apple Screen Time (iOS) or Google Digital Wellbeing / Family Link (Android), or network-level DNS filtering.
